Brick Sudoku for Kids – 4×4 Beginner Games

May 9, 2016 by Jo 21 Comments

Do you use LEGO® bricks in your home? I almost feel silly asking that. My guess is that the majority of homes with children under 10 have at least one LEGO® set. Well, whether you have any LEGO® sets or not , your kiddos are going to love our newest subscriber freebie – Brick Sudoku for Kids!

I’m not sure who’s more excited about these printables, me or my children. We’ve been having fun using these as part of our homeschool day and also just as a fun activity to keep our hands and minds busy.

Sudoku is a great way to help kids develop logic and critical thinking. It keeps the brain active as your child is working on his next move and learning deductive reasoning.

We’ve used the Brick Sudoku printables two different ways in our home. We used them as worksheets giving my five year old a fun chance to practice his scissor skills. He, of course, enjoyed the chance to be cutting and gluing.

While that was fun, the primary way that we have been using this activity is with real LEGO®  bricks.

We laminated our Brick Sudoku game squares to give them a longer life. I keep the laminated printables and LEGO®  bricks in a plastic bag just like I would a busy bag. If you need to add to or start your brick collection, I would recommend this basic set. Or you could also laminate and cut the individual brick squares.

What a fun idea! We love Sudoku but I never thought about using LEGOs to play – what a great twist. This would be great for critical thinking & logic skills (my classical education side is showing!).

Did you subscribe? There is a box at the end of the post to enter your email. Once you did that, you should have received an email with the printables once you confirmed your subscription to the newsletter. 🙂

I subscribed and received the 4×4 Sudoku puzzles. My 5 year old LOVES them and is really quick. I was wondering if you had made the advanced version of these yet? I would love to get those as well to see how he does.

Thanks for putting these together. They’re great!

Hi. I feel a bit stupid saying this. Are there any instructions to go with the print-outs? Thanks

As I was actually practically to give up, I came upon your post.

And also oh boy did I fix my issue! The deepness and also understanding of
the subject an individual have is incredibly unusual currently!

Just https://bringbackalan.com as well as you obviously know what an individual cover.
I can’t stand meaningless material as well as likewise this will definitely be definitely not this!
