Do you get tired of how love is represented on Valentine’s Day? I know I sure do! Romantic love is great 🙂 , but as my children grow, that’s not the first thing I want them to associate with the word love.
So I’ve been working on ways we can make the focus of our Valentine’s Day about serving others. Ways we can spread the love. One thing we decided to do this year is to give a Valentine’s Day card of thanks to the various people who serve our family. Our librarians, children’s pastor, mail carrier, and many more were brought up in our conversations.
I came up with these simple Valentine’s Day cards for the children to sign from our family. We’ll deliver them this week as we run errands and go about our day. I’m also planning to carry a few in my purse so if we make a random stop at the grocery store or someplace else we can have fun using them.
And of course, I thought I’d share them here with you! I created two versions because I couldn’t picture giving our trash collectors the pink ones. 😉

There is a full page of each version, so there are a total of 18 cards available to download. I would recommend printing these on card stock to hold up better under little hands.
My kiddos are so excited about handing these out this week and are already making plans about how they are going to surprise the mail carrier and wait for the trash truck to come. I’d love to hear if you use these free printables with your family!
