All About My Mom Book – Free Printable

Confession time. This free printable that I’m sharing was created purely for my pleasure and I’m so excited about it – an All About My Mom book. Sometimes the simple things make the best gifts.

As a homeschooling mom, my kids don’t always get to bring home the cute crafts or writing activities that other children who attend public school. I’m certainly not complaining. This is the lifestyle we chose as being best for our family. But I still wanted something fun to tuck away to look back on one day when the kids are grown and my home is empty.

So this All About My Mom book was born out of my selfishness and I’m not going to feel bad about it.

This is a perfect gift for mothers. Not only does it capture the sweet and funny things kids say, but it also has places on each page for children’s drawings. I’m greedy and wanted it all. 😉

And I adore what it captured for me with my children. There were a few laughs too which always make for a fun keepsake. Plus, they’ll be getting in a little extra writing practice.

So moms, it’s okay that you  know it’s coming. Print it out and give it to your children. If you are helping a pre-reader, fill it out with exactly what they say. No prompting. And if you want their work to be a surprise, go ahead and ask someone to help your kiddos with the project.

You’ll find four pages to print out that will create an eight page All About My Mom book. It includes a cover page and pages with the following prompts for children to fill out:

  • This is a picture of my mom. Her name is…
  • My mom is great at…
  • My mom really likes…
  • My mom does not like…
  • My mom laughs when…
  • My mom always says…
  • I love my mom because…

Free Book for Mother's Day

*To put the book together, just cut around the light gray lines and attach together with a stapler. You could also use a hole punch with metal brads or ribbon. When you’re cutting out the book, be sure to cut on the light gray line on the left and not the darker one so that you have room to fasten the pages together.

    THERE IS NO BOX AT THE END WHERE YOU USUALY PUT YOUR NAME AND EMAIL AND GET THIS FREE PRINTABLE BOOK! CAN YOU EMAIL IT TO ME?
