We’re getting close to finishing much of our homeschool curriculum and moving onto our summer schedule. I’m looking forward to less commitments and a slower pace!
Even though we homeschool year round, we still take some time off and lighten the load during summers. But I have some work to do before we can get there.

I have a child who has been interested in nature and science since 1st grade, remembering the Latin name for spider, bat, and others. The child is a 4th grader who works at a 6th-7th grade level. I am not a science person (I outsource this subject to an amazing Christian woman who teaches science classes in our area to homeschoolers from a creationist/Biblical science point of view who has her BS in Biology, Masters in Theology, and homeschooled her children as well).
